We have the option of housing our patients in several "Recovery Houses", which have an infrastructure specifically designed for the management and care of plastic surgery patients, with a 24-hour nursing service and offering a balanced diet for our post-surgical patients.

We have a comfortable transportation fleet where our staff will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name and flight number.

Destination airport

The closest airport to the city of Santo Domingo is Las Americas International Airport (SDQ), which is located 30 minutes away from the center of the city where our clinic is located.

How to request a quote?
Obtaining a quote is a simple process. To do so, just contact us at 829-554-6062, where we will ask you to complete a brief questionnaire and send photographs that will allow us to make an initial evaluation. Once we receive this information, we will proceed to analyze your case and, in a short period of time, we will send you your quotation in PDF format. This document will detail the procedures for which he/she is a candidate, along with relevant information about the procedure.
Will the surgeries leave scars?
Yes, like all surgical procedures, it does leave some scarring, as it involves making incisions in the skin. However, in plastic surgery, advanced techniques are used to minimize their visibility and achieve an aesthetic scarring. The healing process varies from person to person. Some patients may develop thicker scars, known as keloids, or present hyperpigmentation in the operated area. It is also possible that slight marks may remain on the stitches.
After giving birth, how long should I wait to undergo plastic surgery?
It is advisable to wait 6 months after giving birth to allow the body to recover from pregnancy and childbirth.
Do you work with a recovery house?
Yes, we work with Armonia Recovery House, a recovery house specializing in post-operative care for plastic surgery patients. Here patients receive personalized care in a comfortable and safe environment, ideal for optimal recovery.
Post-operative recommendations
We suggest that you stay in the country for at least 10 to 14 days for better care, surveillance and post-operative follow-up.
With this we guarantee that you will go home recovered and ready to show off your new figure.
If I have to travel to the Dominican Republic, how long should I stay in the country for my recovery?
You must remain in the country for at least 10 to 12 days in total to ensure adequate initial recovery and to attend scheduled post-operative consultations.
Does health insurance cover plastic surgery?
ARS does not offer coverage for plastic surgery. But when you have your surgery with Dr. Manuel Diaz you must purchase a medical insurance specialized in plastic surgery for the cost of US$250 that covers RD$15,000 in case of complications.
